Christine Sunia, D.O.
Practice Experience:
Dr Sunia earned her Bachelor of Science (Chemistry/Molecular Biology) from Brigham Young University and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997 and 2004 respectively.
Dr. Sunia then completed a three year Pediatric Residency at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children in Falls Church, VA, with specialized training in primary care pediatrics and adolescent medicine.
Certification and Licensure:
Dr. Sunia is licensed to practice medicine by the State of Virginia. She is board certified by The American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Sunia was born outside Los Angeles, but grew up in Baltimore.
Her special interests include spending time with her husband and young sons and music of all kinds. Dr. Sunia and her husband are the proud parents of two sons.

KidsDoc Symptom Checker App
The American Academy of Pediatrics has a KidsDoc Symptom Checker App for iPhone and Android. This app has a symptom care guide including appropriate homecare measures to take and advice on when it is necessary to call our overnight Triage service to seek help for your child. This can be a great tool to use when your child is sick in the middle of the night or when you are on the go.
