Dr. Pooja Prasad
Practice Experience:
Dr. Prasad joined our group in March 2009. She came to us from St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City. She sees patients at Manchester Lakes and Lake Ridge Offices.
Education:
Dr. Prasad received her BS in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University and her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at INOVA Fairfax Hospital for Children.
Organizations:
Dr. Prasad is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Personal:
Dr. Prasad is a Springfield, VA native. She and her husband are the proud parents to a son who was born in May 2009.

KidsDoc Symptom Checker App
The American Academy of Pediatrics has a KidsDoc Symptom Checker App for iPhone and Android. This app has a symptom care guide including appropriate homecare measures to take and advice on when it is necessary to call our overnight Triage service to seek help for your child. This can be a great tool to use when your child is sick in the middle of the night or when you are on the go.
